Welcome to BLR Jolly Rides. By renting a self-drive car from us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Reservation and Booking
  • Booking Process: Reservations can be made via phone, WhatsApp, or email. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
  • Mandatory Documents: A valid driving license and government-issued photo ID (Aadhar/PAN) must be provided for the booking.
  • Full Payment: The booking amount must be paid in full at the time of vehicle pickup.
  • Vehicle Availability: We strive to provide the vehicle of your choice; however, vehicle allocation depends on availability.
2. Driver Eligibility
  • Primary Driver Requirements: The primary driver must be at least 23 years old and must hold a valid driving license for at least 2 years.
  • Additional Drivers: Any additional drivers must meet the same eligibility criteria (age and driving license requirements).
3. Security Deposit
  • Refundable Deposit: A refundable security deposit of INR 5000/- is required at the time of vehicle pickup.
  • Deposit Return: The security deposit will be returned upon safe return of the vehicle, provided no damages or violations have occurred.
  • Additional Charges: Tolls, other state permits, and fines (if applicable) will be charged in addition to the daily rental cost.
4. Fuel Policy
  • Full Tank Policy: Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel, and customers must return the vehicle with the same fuel level.
  • Fuel Difference: Any discrepancy in fuel levels will result in additional charges.
5. Insurance and Liability
  • Comprehensive Insurance: All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance and third-party insurance.
  • Third-Party Losses: BLR Jolly Rides does not cover losses to third parties in case of accidents.
  • Customer Responsibility: In case of an accident, the customer is responsible for notifying BLR Jolly Rides and bearing any costs not covered by insurance.
6. Late Returns
  • Grace Period: A grace period of 1 hour is allowed for late returns.
  • Late Fees: Late returns beyond the grace period will incur charges equivalent to the rental fee for an additional day.
7. Maintenance and Damages
  • Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when rented.
  • Reporting Issues: Any mechanical or operational issues must be reported to BLR Jolly Rides immediately.
  • Damage Responsibility: Customers are liable for any damages, scratches, or loss caused to the vehicle during the rental period.
8. Traffic Violations and Fines
  • Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period.
  • Speed Limits: The speed limit is 80 km/h within the city and 110 km/h for outstation driving. Exceeding these limits will result in a fine of Rs 1000/-, which will be deducted from the security deposit.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date are non-refundable; however, the booking can be postponed subject to vehicle availability.
10. Vehicle Usage
  • Authorized Drivers: Only the driver(s) listed in the rental agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle.
  • Prohibited Uses: The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, towing, racing, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of the rental and forfeiture of the deposit.

12. Governing Law
  • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Bangalore courts.

By renting a vehicle from BLR Jolly Rides, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the above terms may result in penalties, additional charges, or legal action.
